What information should I provide for a freight quote?
Provide collection and delivery locations, commodity, package count, dimensions, total weight, ready date and preferred transport mode. Incoterms, loading access and any special handling requirements are also useful.
Do you arrange air, sea and road freight?
Yes. We coordinate air, sea and road freight options through suitable logistics partners depending on the route, cargo, timing and provider acceptance.
Can you arrange FCL and LCL sea freight?
Yes. Sea freight enquiries can include full-container-load and less-than-container-load services, subject to route, equipment and partner availability.
What is the difference between FTL, LTL and groupage?
FTL generally uses a dedicated vehicle, LTL uses part of a vehicle, and groupage consolidates multiple consignments through a network. The best option depends on load size, route and urgency.
Can you support urgent or same-day freight?
We can review dedicated road, priority air and other time-critical options. Availability depends on the exact collection point, destination, cargo and required deadline.
Can you coordinate project or oversized cargo?
Yes, subject to detailed review. Heavy or oversized movements may require specialist vehicles, permits, route surveys, lifting equipment or out-of-gauge shipping arrangements.
Can you support door-to-door freight?
Where suitable services are available, collection, main transport, customs-agent coordination and final delivery can be combined into a door-to-door solution.
Do you complete customs declarations yourselves?
Where formal declarations are required, we coordinate with appropriately authorised customs agents or logistics providers. Customers remain responsible for accurate shipment and commodity information.
Is cargo insurance included?
Cargo insurance is not automatically included unless a quotation specifically states that it is. Customers should consider whether separate cargo insurance is appropriate for their shipment.
Are transit times guaranteed?
Unless expressly agreed in writing, transit and delivery times are estimates because carrier schedules, customs, weather, port congestion and other external factors can affect movements.
Do you handle dangerous goods?
Dangerous or regulated cargo is considered only after full disclosure and specialist review. Suitable packaging, documentation, trained providers and carrier acceptance may be required.
How quickly will you respond?
We aim to respond to business enquiries promptly during normal working hours. Complex, urgent or specialist routes may take longer while availability and requirements are checked.
