Non-standard cargo needs non-standard planning
Project freight can involve machinery, plant, structural components or cargo that exceeds normal pallet or container dimensions. The movement should be planned around lifting points, route restrictions, loading method and site access.
Information required before pricing
Detailed dimensions, gross weight, centre of gravity where relevant, photographs or drawings, lifting requirements, collection/delivery access and required dates are important for project-cargo review.
Specialist providers and permits
Oversized movements can require specialist hauliers, cranes, escorts, route surveys, permits or out-of-gauge ocean equipment. These elements are coordinated with appropriate providers where the route requires them.
Before booking
Any service remains subject to written quotation/confirmation, accurate customer information, provider availability and applicable law. Cargo insurance is not automatically included unless expressly stated.
