Freight & Shipping Policy
General policy for quotation, collection, international transport and delivery coordination.
Last reviewed: August 2026
1. Services covered
This policy explains the general way AIN Enterprise Ltd handles freight enquiries and coordinates transport. It applies to commercial air, sea, road and multimodal enquiries unless a specific quotation states otherwise.
2. Quote information
Rates depend on collection and delivery points, commodity, quantity, package dimensions, weight, loading requirements, ready date and route. Incomplete or inaccurate information can result in re-rating.
3. Collection
Collection is arranged only after written confirmation. The shipper must ensure cargo is ready, suitably packed, safe to transport and accessible at the confirmed time. Additional loading equipment or timed collections must be requested in advance.
4. Main transport
Mode and provider are selected according to the agreed booking. Sailing, flight and road schedules can change. Space and equipment remain subject to carrier availability until confirmed.
5. Customs and borders
Customs-agent coordination can be included where agreed. Duties, taxes, licences and government inspections are separate from freight unless specifically included. Border holds and inspections can change transit time and cost.
6. Delivery
Delivery is to the location and service level shown in the booking. The receiver must provide safe access and be available to unload where unloading is their responsibility. Failed delivery and waiting charges may be passed through.
7. Tracking and updates
We provide shipment updates based on information supplied by the relevant transport providers. Tracking events are not guarantees of arrival time.
8. Cargo insurance
Insurance is not automatically included. Customers should decide whether to arrange cargo insurance based on cargo value and risk.
9. Prohibited or restricted cargo
Do not tender dangerous, prohibited, controlled or waste goods without prior written disclosure and acceptance. Additional documentation and provider conditions may apply.
10. Related terms
This policy should be read with our Trading & Shipping Terms. A confirmed quotation or booking takes priority where it contains more specific terms.
